Dear haiku poets, you are invited to participate in the first "International Kukai"(haiku contest).

The kigo(season word/topic) is SPARROW/S. No other form of the word will be accepted.

Send THREE haiku which include SPARROW/S to:

Only poets who have submitted poems for the current month are eligible to participate in the voting process.Poets should not vote for their own poems. Votes cast for one's own poem will be disregarded.Moreover,if you don't take part in the voting process, you will not get your results.

Votes to be scored using a total of 6pts.


Each poet has (6) points to be used. You may distribute the points in increments of 1, 2, or 3. You may not cast more than 3 points for any single poem.

Trimiterile voastre trebuie să includă pe lîngă poem numele vostru întreg şi adresa de email. Trimiteţi doar poeme haiku/senryu nepublicate. Nu trimiteţi în ataşament.


Data limită pentru trimiterea poemelor este 10 aprilie 2012.


Veţi primi pe 11 aprilie lista cu poemele numerotate (fără numele participanţilor) pentru a le vota. Votarea se face la fel ca la concursul Shiki sau RK. Pot vota doar cei care au trimis poem. Nu vă puteţi vota propriile poeme. Cei care nu participă la vot nu vor apărea în lista rezultatelor.


Data limită pentru trimiterea voturillor este 20 aprilie 2012.


Rezultatele vor fi anunţate pe 30 aprilie 2012.
